A Möbius Strip has only one side and one edge. It is named after August Möbius, a nineteenth century German mathematician and astronomer, who was a pioneer in the field of topology. The famous artist, M.C. Escher, used mathematical themes in much of his work, which includes a Möbius flight of swans and a Möbius parade of ants. Architect, Ben Van Berkel, designed the Möbius House in 1998.
