Ground Zero
by James, Marguerite and CrosbyMy little Angel dearheart
sat on my shoulder dearheart
told me to behave don’t rave
sat on my shoulder warned me
not to rock the boat or see too far
my little devil dearheart
told me to leave you dearheart
showed me some home truths ’bout myself
showed me how easy
blood could be applied
this is the story baby
’bout heaven and hell sweet baby
was wrote out a thousand times ’fore I met you
and I’ll sing on drunks sweet demons
you slept with angels
you don’t know what’s right
and I’ll sail out on rough oceans of juvenile emotions
’cause the ages cannot teach me any rules
little naked spirits older than the death man
have tried to nurture me upon my self
but it’s a silly silly tale now
that makes us all look pale now
a curse becomes a blessing in disguise
our laughter is abusive
in search of where the truth is
and it’s a little nonsense I cannot resolve
so I’ll make a boat of kelp now and
sail out on the swell now
to places that I have never been before
and in my little boat now
to heaven or to hell now
I’ll sail across the ocean blue and green
but trust to my sweet angel to clear
you or to maim you
and everything will be the way it seems
but here inside my heart now
a little bruise may cheer you
and you can feed upon these baby souls
oh archangels and seraphim cherubim expectorate
think on this problem
sing all night to me
Thither I will worship devoid of all the voices
you’ll have me like a bar without no booze
I will sing now
My body is my temple
I am the sweetest girl now
I do not even smell now
give me a bloody break now
fuck you and fuck me
