British author ALEXANDER STUART has written seven books, including his controversial incest novel, The War Zone, which actor Tim Roth has chosen to film as his directorial debut in 1998. Among Stuart's other books are an account of the life and death of his five-year-old son from cancer, and Life On Mars, an account of Stuart's seven years in Florida. Stuart was executive producer of Nicolas Roeg's movie, Insignifiance, and teaches screenwriting at the University of Miami.

VICKI HENDRICKS is the author of Miami Purity, a novel of sex and murder in the dry cleaners. She teaches creative writing and composition at Broward Community College in South Florida and is currently finishing Voluntary Madness, a Key West crime romp.

APRIL KRASSNER received her MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. Her work has appeared in Iconoclast, Poet Lore and Icarus. She lives and writes in New York City.

ALAN WALL's novel Bless the Thief will be published by Crown in the spring. He has been published in various journals and magazines.

ELISA ALBO was born in Havana, Cuba. She studied at University of Florida and Florida International University, where she received her M.F.A. in creative writing in 1992. She is published in such journals as Poetry East, The South Florida Poetry Review, and Onionhead, and currently teaches writing at Broward Community College. She lives in North Miami Beach.
